I really want to find who has the most career home runs for the whole alphabet. I have them all except for E, F, H, I, L, N, P, T, U, Z and I think I know who Z is.

Some of these I knew, but some of them I had to research.

E = Darrell Evans, sitting at 40th with just over 400
F = Jimmie Foxx, 14th just 2 career homers behind Mantle
H = Frank Howard, somewhere around 50th all time
I = To find an I, you have to go all the way to 257th all time to
Pete Incaviglia
L = At 106th all time, Greg Luzinski
N = Graig Nettles, a few spots behind Evans at 47th all time
P = This was easy, even though there should be an * since he
got caught cheating, but Raphael Palmeiro is 9th on the
list.
T = The big Hurt, Frank Thomas is 23rd and climbing thanks
to the DH.
U = I searched and searched and couldn't find any names
with U in the top 500 of all time. But when you think about
it, I'm sure Dan Uggla from the Marlins is on the list, just
way way at the bottom.
Z = Todd Zeile is sitting at 168th all time

Former Braves, Giants & Tigers Slugger Darrell Evans with 414.

As of today (May 9, 2007) number 40 on the All-Time Home Run Leaders List (Mike Piazza above with 39 and Carlos Delgado below with 41).

F is Philadelphia A's & Boston Red Sox HOFer Jimmie "Double X" Foxx with 514 (14 on the list)

H is fellow former Ohio State student & Dodgers / Senators slugger Frank Howard with 382 (tied with Jim Rice at 52)

P is former Cubs, Rangers & Orioles star Rafael Palmeiro with 569 (9th on the list)

T is is former White Sox slugger & current Blue Jays DH Frank "The Big Hurt" Thomas with 487 (23rd on the list)

That's all for now...sorry I couldn't fill in more of that alphabet... maybe later.
