i might be facing some jail time. i have a 3 and a 4 year old.

Well, it depends on what you did... Your spouse- if they choose to- can tell the children that you did something bad and you were in a "time out" for awhile. They might be made fun of at school if they were in grade school, but thankfully they are too young for that. I would say that if you trust your spouse to not tell your children anything bad about you, they'll still love you the same after you get out of jaill. But, it all depends on what you are serving time for.....

It sure isn't the most positive thing to put them through. From my experience young kids think that their dad can't do anything bad so being in jail (and what ever you did to get their) can't be all that bad.

they will believe you dont love them and abandon them!
