When my friend invites me over to her house she acts different towards me or even when we are out in public. When her husband is around, she hardly talks to me, I get strange looks and she barely looks me in the eyes. Why does she act this way?

He sounds like an intimidating, critical man. What goes on in their home is a mystery but it doesn't sound good. She is not free to be who she is because of him.

She puts on a act around her husband making him believe that shes a good girl not saying that she isn't just not the way he knows her . No big deal stay out of it. If that's what they think marriage is about then that's up to them but i agree it is odd.

Are you a gal or a guy? mmmm.....
If you are a guy... maybe something is on the air...or she does not want her husband to think there is something between the two of U...
If you are a gal, she definitely wants to show her husband she acts in a certain when she is with her friends...
Anyway she is not being true to herself!and if she is a friend you care for...talk to her!!

i'm operating on the concept your husband tries to be more beneficial mature round you and is sillier and crazier consisting of his friends. you probably ought to specify, because the excuses will be hugely diverse searching in this assistance. even though it may well be more beneficial diffused, oftentimes people act diverse round everyone relative to how they act round somebody else. He probably respects you more beneficial and feels more beneficial of a love connection to you, as adversarial to consisting of his friends, the position he feels he can screw off and by no ability hardship in the adventure that they imagine he's irresponsible. So i wager how you may say that's that he acts diverse because he loves you, and would not opt to lose you because of how he acts. maximum probably he would not imagine you'll actual damage it off, yet a subconscious instinct in both adult males and females people is probably to blame. i'm no psychologist, this is basically an evaluation of what i have considered in life.

It sounds to me like she is afraid of what her husband might say about what she says to you. It looks like he is in control of her. She may need you as a friend so keep in touch with her. Don't let this behavior keep you away.

This could be alot of things maybe she thinks her hubby will embarrass her. Maybe he's embarrassed. Maybe he is abusive towards her so she is hoping you don't pick up on it. Maybe she's tiring to make her hubby like you. Maybe she's just weird. I would ask her whats going on and tell her what you see and think see what she says. What could it hurt.

Maybe her husband doesnt like you, or maybe he likes you too much. You should really confront your friend and get to the bottom of it.
