are you kidding me?? that is like comparing having sex with a super model and your mom. the HOF is the biggest accomplishment in any sport. the allstar game is just how many votes can one guy get not based on anything else.....I know this is about baseball. but look at the NBA this year Shaq got voted in as a started and was hurt the first half of the season, just cause people wanted him to get more votes than yao.

at least the MLB has given the all star game substance and meaning giving the winning team the home field for the world series.

But to ask what is better man you must love your mom quite a bit

Hall of Fame! Not even close. There's been plenty of players make an All Star game, but not be able to get into the Hall of Fame.

To get into the Hall of Fame takes an entire career on the top of your game. For the Allstar game all you need to do is be the best in the eyes of the fans for about 2 months before the Allstar game. You don't even really need to have the best stats or be the best at your position, just need to have the fans care about you more than the other guy.

The Hall is the game's highest honor, and requires a full career of excellence and on-field achievement.

Being selected as an All-Star is an honor, but requires little more than a good half-season, and, well, just look at some of the men who have been All-Stars. Scott Cooper was a two-time selectee, mainly because someone was needed to back up third base.

the hall by far. just getting to the all-star game is an accomplishment and its saying that the players are the best in that given year, but it does change for the most part from year to year. getting into the hall is by far the biggest accomplishment that an MLB player can garner. just being recognized with the guys like nolan ryan, jakcie robinson, willie mays, babe ruth, lou gehrig, frank robinson,cy young, walter johnson, kirby puckett, etc. i can keep going on and on,but its the biggest thing that could happen to a ballplayers career.

The Hall of Fame is based upon rediculous scrutiny of numbers, image, feilding ability, and many other factors over a long career. The All Star game is based on who has fans who can click their mouse the fastest. That isnt even a real question.
