hi i plugged my speakers into my computer after reboting it the other day and since then they have not worked i go to play something and it says there is no speakers plugged in but there is i know they work i have tried them elsewhere and they are plugged in what do i do really need help thanks alot in advance.

erm yeah they do plug in and the power is on cause the green light on the speakers is on and they plug into the back it is a green wire and i have plugged it into the green hole i know i have plugged them in right they used to work but not since i rebooted

Test first w/ a headphone. If there is no sound try a system restore to the date when the speakers were working. If this does not work, uninstall the soundcard driver then reinstall.

I'm not familiar with these speakers - do they have a single 1.5mm jack plug? And what's the input socket situation on your PC?
