Being superhuman and having this expectation that we can do it all. Most of the time we can...but it's not a freakin' bed of roses. Let's think about this - women are expected to be the glue that holds the family together, the nurturer..the one that takes care of the home and the kids and the hubby. You also are expected to have a career..or at the very least a job, and in most cases compete with the male population for advancement - while balancing the rest of your life!! Also while doing all of this...society expects you to stay in shape, not age and look good - because of course you are constantly judged on your appearance first...your intellect later.

Falling in love for the first time and realising the guy only wants sex. Heartbreak. Falling in love again and realising exactly what some men are really like when the front door's closed and its just the two of you. Learning to differentiate between love and lust and getting hurt along the way, deep down in our hearts and its always the men who bounce back unscathed like they could fall in a cesspit and come out smelling of roses. Childbirth, getting older, looking in the mirror one day and seeing a woman instead of a girl, lines appearing on your face and the sudden realisation that youre not seventeen anymore and never shall be again. Working hard to look good when it used to come as naturally as if it was your birthright.
...I know you said one...well thats too hard becuase there are so many. Pick one from the above?
I think men often underestimate how difficult us women have it in life sometimes.
Life can be daunting. I still think men have it easier, or certainly a degree easier. Some of its nature, some of it isnt.
But I think at the end of the day it also makes us (emotionally) the stronger of the sexes.

Child birth, monthly periods, menopause, being paid less for the same work, men insulting our intelligence and our driving, bearing the brunt of the housework ... the list is endless. Not that men don't have issues too, of course.

Childbirth is number one on the list. The pregnancy isn't exactly a bowl of cherries either.

Pap smears, mammograms, periods, menopause. It's a lot, but that's why we're the stronger sex.

The sexualization of girls. You get knocked up at 15, life gets a hell of a lot harder, real fast.
