Probably very soon. I get these pains in my pelvic area before my labor. I guess baby's head is pushing against you and it can really hurt.

Do you mean you feel kind of bruised down there? I'm 39 weeks now and I've felt that way from about 36 or 37 weeks. As far as I know it's caused by the pressure of the baby's head on your pelvic bones as the head engages. Certainly uncomfortable but nothing to worry about.
Mine gets worse if I walk and I was told to rest. This is apparently not the kind of pain that is helped by exercise...
On the upside, you will probably be getting a lot less in the way of heartburn and indigestion, and the rib pain that was really giving me grief earlier on has pretty much disappeared.
Good luck with everything!

That is the pressure from your baby on your pelvis,2/5 usually means your baby head isnt quite engaged yet. It's head down just not settled on your cervix yet. See your midwife about the pains, she might be able to get you a back support and give you gentle exercises.

Your baby might be coming, but the pain is parable the pelvic muscles loosen up. I didn't feel this the first time I was pregnant. But with 2,3,and4 I had pain in that area almost from the start, mine felt like being bruised up inside. It's just the body getting ready for delivery.

I got these pains in my pelvis for weeks before I had my second child, I wouldn't have thought your baby is in any danger of being born right away (you'll know when it starts, beleive me!) but if you're unsure you're best bet is to ring your midwife or labour ward to put your mind at rest

Not necessarily. Could just be the baby is moving around, and it pushing on a nerve. Call the OB, and get checked out.
