You have asked this question three times since yesterday!

You don't say what size or type or what it's fixed to?? The metal batten is probably resonating with the ballast, tighten the fixing screws inside, remove and put a slight twist in the cover, then refit.

Nature of the beast. The gasses in the tube have to be heated to illuminate. That is done with an electric current. You are hearing harmonic noises. Sometimes parts could be slightly lose and add to the noise, but, nothing to worry about. If you don't like the sound, turn on the radio.

They always do. However, if you are noticing a buzzing that is louder or that you didn't notice before, you may have a couple things going on.

First, they grow louder as they die out.

Secondly, perhaps the noise is not coming from the bulb, but the balliste. You described a tube bulb, so I assume you have recessed lighting as you would in any office, store, or public facility. It could be vibrations of the sheetmetal balliste. You can hit it with a stick to fix the problem. (The fixture, not the bulb.)

It's the ballast. Take the inside cover off and you'll see a rectacular, normally black, transformer. It'll have several colored wires coming out. Turn off the switch and disconnect the wires, take old ballast to the hardware store and find one that matches it then replace it with the same colored wires tying together.

They usually do buzz slightly but if it is overpowering maybe the starter needs checking out. Other wise you may have a faulty tube which needs replacing - hopefully you have the receipt from when you bought it.

They always make noise. Is the tube flashing?
Sounds like you might need a new starter which costs pence.

The ballast is either loose or going bad. (that is the thing that is rectangular shaped and has a lot of wires comming out of it)

It's probably the balance, that's why this happens a lot. Try reseating the bulb, and that should fix it. If it doesn't, then it may be a loose connection.
