It's like playing a lottery. Your number might come up, or you may never have a problem. I have seen brand new cars and trucks not make it to 3,000 miles before a serious engine problem or part malfunction. This is very rare, but always possible. Most well maintained vehicles can last over 150,000 miles before something major wears out. The big thing is to keep the vehicle serviced and maintained properly.

Depends on how well you take care of her and keep up with general maintenance. A friend of mine and personal mentor had one that he sold with 400,000 miles on it. It was a 1997 k1500 which is the same thing, but he only thing he did was regular tuneups, oil changes and general maintenance such as breaks and tires.

The damn thing didn't have a scratch on it either and he drove it around the country 5 or six times. As well as to and from work which is about 50 miles from his home. The guy that bought crashed the son of a ***** into a highway overpass when he was out drinking and driving about a week later.

maintenance is the key. Brakes, tires , tuneups, water pumps, shocks etc all wear out.....so I don't know if that is a major repair for you. But my 1985 silverado has 780,000 on it and has the same motor, transmission and rear end... although i have had to do some minor repairs on them on them once is a while because of wear. so without putting a wrench to it i would say 100,000 tops with good driving and maintenance habits.

That will depend almost entirely upon how well you take care of it. You could run it into the ground in 50,000 miles or treat it with some TLC and easily get 250,000 miles or more out of it.
