I will be travelling from Waterloo....Is it central line from there ?

From Waterloo, Jubilee Line to Bond Street
Take the Davies Street exit and walk down to Brook Street. Turn right and you can't miss it.

I heard on the radio this morning that the US Embassy is moving away from grosvenor sq. Not sure if it has already happened so you might need to Check. Marble arch is the closest station.

I think it's either Bond Street or Marble Arch, both on the Central Line. It's in Mayfair, so the stations are close by anyway. There are probably quite a few within a ten minute walk.

Bond Street is a 5/6 minute stroll from from Grosvenor Square, unless you smoke forty a day lol!

As said previously , either marble arch, bond street, or even Hyde park corner. ( a bit further away but nice walk in Posh Mayfair).
True, behave while you are in and around the Embassy. A few week ago i was walking past the embassy after a night on the piss and i got unwanted attention from people with machine guns!

Marble Arche or Bond Street (central line), it's the same walking distance from both.
