Being an ex nurse I only know too well, LOL it plays hell with your body clock and not much good for your health eating at strange times, or controlling your weight either,,etc ♥

People working night-shifts don't always work on night-shifts every night. Its just a prescribed time that changes in a job throughout the year.

For an example an airtraffic controls man will have night shifts at the airport one week, and day shifts on the other. Because these types of jobs always need constant attention. And they dont stay hungry they can get late dinners or have someone bring it in for them

I use to work the over night shift and I was so hungry by the time I got home that I would eat last nights leftovers and anything else I had.

my dad works the nights shift but he's never wanted to eat the side of a cow. That's a lot of food.

its true and ive noticed society is starting to get with the program and offering dinner and lunch at breakfast time and 24 hr shopping and even though ive worked nights for years i still feel strange admitting i cooked up a mess of spaghetti at 3am

Also don't be driving home between 4-5am because statistically that's the time when the REMs kick in big time and a second or two of that can have devastating results.

Last time I worked night was when I worked down the pit. If you done OT you got a free breakfast when you finished.

I found the worst part sleeping during the day especially in summer - take food for lunch at midnight or later and you will be ok
