Why is Paris Hilton a role model?

What did this woman do that was so great for humanity? She's not moderately intelligent, she hasn't stop our dependency on crude oil, she hasn't found a solution to global warming, so why do a lot of young people look up to her. If anything, shouldn't we look down on her? Please, give me one good reason she should be looked upon with anything but utter content?

Everyone that is paraded on TV all day is a role model (to a point) Parents are getting Lazy Nowadays and America craves entertainment 24/7 (remember the TV used to go off at Midnight) that combination makes her idolized as a role model plus everyone is always trying to be Cool rather than right or good.or just "FAIR"

The only way I see her as a role model is for what young girls SHOULDN'T grow up to be! The same could be said for many others: Anna Nicole Smith, Linsday Lohan, Bratney Spears, Nicole Ritchie, etc etc

I personally think she is just a well-to-do spoiled brat without any respect for anyone or even herself. I believe though, young people(especially girls) look up to her because she "seems to have everything" they want...Men, Money, Beauty, Records, Acting, and the useless list goes on and on.
