I like the name Toby but only for a nickname. How will I name my baby boy if I want to call him Toby for short? Any suggestions?

Why not just name him Toby then. Look at Toby McGuire(Spider Man). Or the idea of a middle name is good. John Tobias, Richard Toby bla bla. Thomas Toby. Kinda cute really.

You could use it as his middle name, and let him go by that. I know a lot of people who go by their middle name instead of their first, or who have nicknames that are from their middle name
