Yes. I waited until marriage. Quite frankly, your relationship depends on it in a way. Before marriage, it's absolutely crucial that you get to know the person really, really well. The problem with sex entering into the relationship is that it clouds the thinking and you no longer are able to learn about your potential partner obejctively. Everything starts to revolve around sex and the sex bonds the two together whether they should be together or not. There actually is a chemical reaction that causes the two to bond that has nothing to do with how compatible the two are. Therefore, it's far healthier for a relationship to be be about compatiblility, and a deeper bond that revolves around your personalities first. After marriage, the converse is true. After marriage, sex will be the glue that holds it all together. But by then, you have put in the work and know and have committed to this person being the only one the rest of your life.

andi would say the relationship. i mean for the first what? 17 years of your life you get on quite well without it as well in the last few years of your life - if you live to be a good old age. and nuns and monks get on on they're still normal so if you are just after the sex why be in a relationship at all...
