So i just want to verify this is the tonner cartridge i got with the printer a sample???...

Usually they last the same than the ones you can buy at the store. The C7115A has less capacity than C7115X.

Also remember that the 2500 page thing usually not accurate, they calculate that when the page is not full. If you printed out graphics or photos will decrease the # of pages.

It isn't a sample toner cartridge, but it is one that is not completely full. Just as new printers that use ink cartridges are only supplied with 1/2 full cartridges in the box. They makers know you are going to do a lot of printing when you first purchase a new printer, which are generally purchased at a good price. But where they get you is when you need to replace those cartridges or toners that came in the box. Hold onto you hats as you might pay more for the ink than you did for the printer itself.

No, the 7115A is a trade cartridge and it is not a sample.

However, that 2500 pages is just a guide based on an average of 5% coverage. This is like a full page of text or email prints.

You will get more or less depending on what you print... so dont really expect to get 2500 pages exactly, esp if you are printing a lot of pictures or if you are printing just little things like letterheads, etc.

Technically not a sample. They are considered "starter" cartridges. No you wont' get that many pages from them. All vendors do the same thing, even for ink jet printers.

The toner cartridge isn't a sample, but the ones packed in printers when they are shipped, are often not full.

No, it's not a sample. It IS the smallest cartridge produced by HP. They want you to BUY more and bigger cartridges when yours runs out.

That said, call HP tech support, you should get close to the number of pages promised on the cartridge. there may be other issues with your printer.

Yes, it's what many people consider to be a sample. It's not filled up nearly as much as one you would buy.
