I would try library of univ of L'pool but good luck, its liverpool, they've got murders every week.

If you know when it happened go to your library in Liverpool, and they should have all the archive material for the local papers. It will have been reported, so there should be a record of it. Good luck

i'd check back copies of newspapers (many can be found online or at the library) without more information it can be quite difficult to find stuff online!
