If a conservative candidate for President said, "when I become President, I promise to curtail wasteful Federal spending," what does he really mean? Because Bush did make that promise, and he hasn't curtailed ANY spending.

to me it doesnt matter who said it... I got your back means someone will look out for you. you don't have eyes in your back so if someone is willing to watch your back, it means they will try to protect you from what you can't see... :) it's a nice thing to say.
