So I'm going to look like a huge idiot right now posing this question, but I love singing and I want to be a singer...but I'm shy.
I know I have a good voice (bit cocky there haha) but I haven't mastered the courage to make it public. So I'm thinking of making youtube videos and editing it so that my face is...blurry I guess or something nonvisible. But if I make it, and people trace me back to it, will I look dumb? Should I just show my face and hope my friends don't see it? HELP!?!?!

If you blur your face, probably the user will cut the vid short. If you do have a good voice, belt it out for all to see, and God Bless You. You'll get over that shyness with a small taste of success.

I would record you singing, but just aim the camera at your hand on the mouse or something so there is no blurry face, just a hand. Also, maybe you could make anohter account and put the video on there so people couldn't trace it back to you.

Go for it. You have a good voice - share it with the world! Does it matter if your friends see your face? They'll recognise your voice anyway. Be proud of who you are and God bless you in what you do.
