I have an intel(R) graphics card on my intel p4 winxp sp2.
I've downloaded and installed second life and couldnt play because of my Graphicscard. Can anyone tell me if it is at all possible to play SL with my current card? Also, is it possible to get a Graphics card as a plug and play, like in usb2.0?

No, you cannot play Second Life with your current video card, because primarily it's an onboard video card. Onboard video cards are very slow, has a high rate of incompabilities as well as missing important features for new games to run.

No, there's no video card that is plug and play like USB 2.0

The only way to play Second Life is to buy a DirectX 9c compatible video card. Look for video cards that have either 7300 plus in it's name (NVidia GeForce 7300, 7600, 7900)

Or has X1000 plus in it's name. ATI Radeon X1300, 1600, 1800.

And then plug in the card yourself or with a help of a friend who is knowledgable about computers, then install the drivers inside Windows.

it is not possible to have a plug-n-play graphic card in windows-xp.
but if u r ready to upgrde ur pc to windows vista then u can surely do so
windows vista has a feature of TAG memory.it uses up ur RAM to give u a better graphic performance.windows vista is able to use high-speed usb pendrives as RAM.
thus is u plug a high-speed usb pendrive to ur windows vista pc then u vl have an increased RAM a in turn u vl get a higher graphic memory ,and u can play high graphic games with ease
