In the USA two universities which have interesting programs in astronomy are the University of Arizona at Tucson and the University of Hawaii.
Astronomy is very much dependent on mathematics and physics, so you will need to be excellent in both those subjects. Also, there are very few jobs in Astronomy, so you will need to be at the top of your class or you will not be competitive for astronomy jobs.
