how can i know my pc support AGP graphic card or pci express,here is my pc specification
pentium4, 2.4Ghz
504mb RAM
display adapter is :intel 82845G graphic controler
i bought my pc 4years ago
any more info do u need to tell me which one
and tell me the best graphic card that can i buy it.

It says here that your motherboard has a 4X AGP expansion slot.

It is not a fast slot but definitely better than PCI or your integrated graphics. Most budget 8X AGP cards will work on that slot. There is no point in getting the fast mainstream cards because they will just be bottlenecked by the slow 4X AGP slot.

You can also increase RAM to 1Gb to improve overall system performance. Your board supports up to 2Gb.

PCI Express has only really been availiable to the public for the last 3 years so its almost definatly going to be a AGP
