I did some research a long time ago and I learned that hiccups is linked to the amount of CO2 in your blood. I tried controlling my breathing, very shallow breaths, to build up the CO2 and it works!! At least it works for me all the time, when ever I tell someone else how to do it they never get it right. But this method had never let me down.

Breathing into a paper bag 10 times at least (deep breaths). The carbon dioxide will reset your diaphragm and you'll be back to normal in no time... Works for me...

Take the deepest breath you can in, hold it for ten seconds and then blow it out really fast, like you're blowing out birthday candles. Works every time for me :o)

okay, you have to reset your diaphragm, so inhale a deep breath, when you feel your lungs are totally expanded inhale a bit more, and then let it out real slow this should cure your hiccups
