Take the day off! Call off. Listen to your inner voice. Life is too short. Hey, you may owe it to yourself.
I'd take the day off if I were you. Don't worry about someone covering,.........your inner voice is telling you to take an impromtu break. Listen to it, ......if you pay it credence, that same voice may save your life someday!
Go enjoy yourself and sluff off if that is what you need.

nope, I'm on night shift and I get off in 2 hours. And it's my Friday so I'll be hittin the sack. sorry, i need my beauty sleep.
Just call in and leave the "covering" for your boss to worry about.
