Cricket is at its low in india. There is no much interest in the game now. It may change with one great win. One win - can it bring back interest in the game - bangladesh series.

I do not agree that there is no interest in the India's tour of Bangladesh. In normal course a tour to Bangladesh may not have generated any interest. However, after the defeat of India by Bangladesh in the world cup, this tour has generated lot of interest.

This series can't bring back that interest in the game.Unless India beat Bangladesh 3-0 in ODI and 2-0 in Test matches. But definately after series of good wins against England when they tour in Jun- Sep and good show up in first 20-20 world cup in South Africa.

In my humble view, there are many types of interest arising out of India’s current tour of Bangladesh. The reasons may be as follows:

1. Did you see the body-language of the Indian Coach, Captain and team members who are here to play a complete series of 3 ODI and 2 test matches, which is to get off the mark on Thursday the 10th May at Mirpur Sher-E-Bangla Stadium?

2. 'We are here to win' was the expectant and reckless proclaim of Indian skipper Rahul Dravid after stepping at ZIA International Airport on Monday the 7th May 2007.

3. More importantly, Bangladesh was the villain for India in ICC CWC 2007 whose splendid performance compelled India to be defeated and ultimately exit of India from the WC.

So, without any doubt India is here to take revenge of WC defeat though Rahul told 'I don't believe in revenge'.

Now you tell me, are these not very interesting comments and happenings worth watching for the outcome. By any chance, if the Bengal Tiger Cubs could maul the Indian Elephants ego or rub them the wrong way on the field then tell me what other thing could be of interest in Indian pep-talk for days to come, if not weeks!

it is a much awaiting series.......

because the big-guns are not in the one day team....and given priority to the new comers and youngsters...for the one day team...So it is very important to them take this opportunity with both hands...

also we can understand the future and current position of indian cricket team....

hmm...another fact that...
india has no coach for this series.....
so we can get an idea that what is the influence of a coach in the indian cricket team....

thanx

Who said there's no interest in the game? I have all the interest in it. You can't lose interest in a game just because the team you supported lost!
