hey pooria i think ur my friend on youtube!
i remember u commenting a video and i saw it!
well anyway!
______________________________________
FROST~~~~~~
good control, low damage
example 1- u can freeze them and then start to attack, rince repeat cycle which is a good strategy
example 2- frost nova, blink, frostbolt[[along with trinkets and sum items that give u extra spell damage]] - then repeat that same thing!
______________________________________
FIRE~~~~~~
.....great damage!!!!!!!!! ....bad control
example 1- morph them into a sheep so they cant do anything for twenty seconds, blink to get 20 yards ahead, pyroblast! [[then repeat]]
example 2-
Flask of supreme power, greater arcane elixir, elixir of major firepower, flame throwing, unstable power, focused power, arcane power, arcane energy, ephemeral power, scryer’s bloodgem, arcanist’s stone, superior wizard oil, presence of mind, pyroblast[[rank 10]] + Frostfire Regalia set + etherium life staff - 27k[[27,535]] – [[frostfire mage combo]]
+1,338 spell dmg.
u hit 27 thousand damage which is sumtimes a 1 hit kill!
______________________________________
i picked a blood elf fire/arcane mage
so depends u can stay far away, take a chance in getting hit and hit tons of damage but then eventually get caught and attacked with barely any defence...unless u use the tactic i gave u. and u could fire there @$$
or u could use the tactic i gave u and freeze em, and attack and barely get hit, and frost there @$$
i picked fire just because im the high damage type of person!

Well fire mages can the THE MOST DAMAGE IN THE GAME, but frost mages have better control over their opponents. It really depends on what you want though. Frost is the best for levelling though if you want to level fast. Also, you should not go both talents or else you wont be able to do as powerful things

Go to the mage forums on worldofwarcraft.com. You'll get more reliable info.
In my opinion, though, frost is the way to go. You can solo, because of the slowing effects, and still do awesome damage in groups. You can be a hybrid fire.frost, but I don't reccoment that. I think range is about the same on both.

Frost is for crowd control.
Fire is for damage.
Pick the one you prefer to do and stick to it.
Note that Frost is better fro soloing because of the control, and pretty awesome in PvP too. But if you have someone else on crowd control, fire is better.
