I think that is just a saying but it means one person can Help start a reaction to make a diffrence or one deed can persuade someone else to also do something diffrentley than before....

Yes. One year I played "Hanukkah fairy" to a Jewish friend with no close family. I anonymously left little things at her door. Later she told me that she had been suicidal until she came home to find some dollar store pens tied in a ribbon. I had no idea she was feeling so bad and neither did anyone else.

No..Ghandi tried..Einstein tried ..Hitler tried..Jesus tried..only the little things we do in this life to help another human being seems to make a difference..donate bone marrow..a kidney..etc..Dr.Vincent Chang,the great Australian heart surgeon was kidnapped and murdered..For What?Everyone can try but it always seems..'...the dust blows forward and the dust blows back'..Sad but true,that's all..Reality is the great leveller to optimism/pessimism.Peace.
