AC/DC is good, but I get bored with them. I've never gotten bored listening to Def Leppard...much more variety in their music.

Well this one should have been a no brainer - I love AC/DC as much as the next guy, but when was the last time ANYONE saw them in concert or bought a new cd w/ new songs on it?! DEF LEPP BABY!!! I have seen them in concert like 6 times in the past 10 years and they are STILL putting out NEW ****!!! YEAH was all songs that they covered, but X, Euphoria, Slang, none of those are covers. If you haven't heard these cd's - DO SO... I promise you won't regret it!!!

AC/DC recreated the hard rock genre. def leppard are a footnote in hard rock history.

I used to love Def Leppard, but they suck so bad now I am ashamed that I ever liked them (even though their old stuff is still good). They played a state fair for free a few years back; how sad is that? (Yeah, I went.)
AC/DC may be getting old and ready to retire but they still know how to rock and Black in Black is still one of the best albums (and best selling albums) of all time. When I listen to it I can't believe it's 27 years old--and 3 songs from it (Hell's Bells, Back in Black, Shook Me All Night Long) still get regular airplay.
