You'd need to copy the movies to your computer using certain software (sorry, I don't know of any software you could use to do this).

Then you could use something such as Videora to convert THAT video file to something the iPod supports.

So yes, you can, it just involves the right tools. And I'm 99% sure it's legal.

EDIT: Of course if you already have the movies on your computer, you can skip that part.

you can when you plug IPOD in computer put dvd in computer copy dvd onto computer like you would if it was music put dvd in new folder download folder to IPOD
