Can any1 point out 2 me which one is the shape of the copper crystal?...there's so many different shapes on that page...i don't know which one to sketch??? i'm guessing it's the decahedron and tetrahexahedron...but i'm just not sure...can any1 point out which one is the copper crystal...so i can sketch it now! thanks to every1 for ur help!

It seems that all of the shapes shown are copper crystals formed under differing conditions. This is borne out of the "preceding" page of photos. The page isn't very clear on what these conditions might be. It looks like you are free to sketch the one that pleases you the most.

Here, all the shapes are of copper crytalm only. The crystal shape changes wity the properties as given below:
The crystal structure of copper is called the "face centered cubic", or for short, "fcc" structure. It is based on one of the 14 Bravais lattices. Each copper atom has 12 nearest neighbors. Silver and gold also have fcc crystal structures and are "isostructural" with copper.

Both the crystal structure and the external conditions (such as temperature and solution chemistry) in which copper crystals form determine what external morphology of copper crystals results.
