do you tend to show preference when giving stars/thumbs up (or the opposite) to people whos name you know or recognize?

I do sometimes, if they have a good answer.
But I also give thumbs up to other good answers to the same question, to people I dont know.

No. Living here in South Korea, I don't know or recognize any of the other people.
I base my "thumbs" on how intelligent or stupid the answers are.

I give thumbs up or stars to answers I like or answers that make me laugh reguardless of who writes them.

I don't read people's names. Rarely. I look at avatars as frequently as I read answers.
As far as rating goes.. I rate (+1 or -1) almost every answer I read..
