im one of them buddy..its biological, environmental--the way u were raised, genetics, stigma, its a lot of things and this is coming from someone who seriously is (in your opinion) screwed up

Because they don't live for today or this moment in time and feel it for what it is. They blame the past or the people in the past, and they worry about tomorrow. Or they have a mental illness which screws up their perspective of their situation. Also they may be in a situation that they can't or won't change.

I think people in general are screwed up because, they mostly want INSTANT GRATIFICATION on what they plan to do or where they go...
They want money right now...
They want their new house right now...
They want new clothes or a car or anything, and they want it NOW!!!
They don't want to work for it or wait on it...
People are basically impatient and want their desires met right now...
I have some members of my family that know nothing about money and bills and credit and how to pay back a loan and yet they owe on 2 car payments, toys for the kid, bills on their apartment and furniture and loans from a bank and I don't see how they think they will pay it all back or off with one of them out of work...
I worked many years and built up my reputation to buy things I either wanted or needed and in time paid things off and built up my credit...
People today all want it now and wont wait till they are more able to afford...

I believe it is mainly the human condition which is selfish by nature, and if the ones who are selfish do not get their way they in turn inflict pain of some sort on to others and damage others pursuit of peace, and well being, and happiness.
We walk around wounded and hurting which grows into all kinds of things that can tend to harden our hearts.
We surely need healing in so many areas in this life and I have found personally that it is a process, and no quick fixes unfortunately.

Life experiences hun! We are all screwed up in some way or another.

Because they buy into everything that the gov't, companies, and the media sells them. Those who are wise to this are usually more in touch with reality.

Because of liberalism in the culture. It's a plague that attacks the mind and senses, and is highly contagious.
