I am looking for a song title and lyrics?

Some of the lyrics are"..Cats and the cradle and the silver spoon, little boy blue and the man in the moon, when you comin home dad I don't when, well be together than dad, you'll know well have a good time than dad..." It was done in the late 70's early 80's.

Harry Chapin - Cats In The Cradle

Chapin is dead but his brother Tom carries on. He has a kid's show and that song is prevalent.

Song was done not very well by Ugly Kid Joe in the 80's as a rock ballad.

I sing this song in karaoke contests where prize money is involved.
