When 18g of water are cooled from 100 to 0, the water looses

Q = mc dt joules m (mass in grams here18g) c I suppose it is 4.184J /°C and dt difference of temperature here -100
so Q=- 18*4.184*100=-7531.2J sign - =loss
this energy willbe used to melt ice I suppose heat capacity of ice =334J/g

so number of grams 7532.1/334=22.54g
