I was the same at your age. I'm now 18 and it's perfect (although it has been for many years). Slide it back when you shower the most you can (without forcing/pain) and rub the head to keep it clean. That'll encourage it to slide more each day.

Otherwise, if it already slides back when you pull it with your finger, that's perfectly normal buddy!

E-mail if you have any problems/questions. =)

Some fully grown men have foreskins that still cover their head when they are erect.

My boyfriends foreskin covered his head even when he was erect up until around the age of 18 or so.

Phimosis, is a condition where the opening of the foreskin is so tight that you can't retract the skin with your hands when you try to without pain or possible tearing.

It is perfectly natural for some boys/ men to not be able to retract fully until they are around 18years old. This can be because of phimosis, or because the foreskin hasn't fully separated itself from the head of your penis yet.

You can begin stretching your skin gently in the shower every day to prevent having problems in the future, but chances are, everything is perfectly OK with you.

The fact that your foreskin still covers the head of your penis when erect doesn't mean that you have phimosis, it just means you have a long foreskin. Now if you can't pull the skin back over the head of your penis, THAT means you have phimosis! If you can pull it back don't sweat it man.

That's quite normal at 12. Play with it a lot, and you won't have any problems later. Many guys still have tight foreskins a lot later than 12 and are still okay.
