The 1939 version of Goodbye Mr. Chips was sad. Mine are Boys Town, Old Yeller, and Brian's Song.

Brother Bear....
The saddest part for me was when the cute little bear was telling everyone the story on how it's mother was killed by a man, right in front of him!!

"All the president's men". I can't think of anything more depressing and sad than people in power exploiting, hurting, abusing people and twisting the truth for their own gains. Especially when they're in office to represent ALL people, not just special interests. If you want to save the rental of the movie, just move ahead from the Watergate/Nixon era to this era and the head moron in the white house.
