Yes it is. The most strict states give you 2 years (18 & 16), so just be careful, not sure if you turn 19 before she turns 18what would happen. Some states don't allow that after age 18.

The gap between ages is not far enough, and she is most likely over the age of consent anyway. If you are really concerned google search "Statutory Rape" or "Statutory Sexual Assault" you can find the actual laws there. By the way dating is not illegal the only conduct prohibited is sexual intercourse. Given that age difference you should be alright.

no, there is no "dating" laws, and in most places they could even had sex, since most places have a 16 or 17 age of conscent, ( some places do have 18)
But just dating, no problem at all, as long as the 17 year old parents are ok with it.

They can make out all they want until the 17 year old turns 18. Then they can do whatever they want without the fear that somebody's parents will call the cops. That's usually how these things go wrong....

No, not at all as long as they keep everything zipped up they should be OK.
In Australia the age of consent is 16, so they should move here and enjoy life to the fullest.

No. The laws against statutory rape (I assume that's why you're asking) require the age difference to be four years or greater.
