The impact on Native Americans of the European expansion was generally bad. The Europeans brought disease to the natives, which killed many of them. Since the natives did not have intensive agriculture, their average density was less than that of the Europeans, which made the European conquest easier. One exception to this was the Cherokee nation, which had fairly intensive agriculture.
Once most of the natives had been killed off between disease and aggressive Europeans, the rest of them were pushed out of the choicest areas of the country, and eventually were limited to the areas few others wanted, making them even more vulnerable to future European incursions.

The native american, was in the way of something unknown prior to it, something loosely called an Armed Migration. That the natives had not developed their own science, and industrial base put them right in the way of a desperate, heavily armed, ruthless ,mass migration. They were doomed.
