All you get in the news is pure Bush bashing at its finest. Don't believe me, just watch Olbermann any night. He will have a countdown of the top 5 stories of the day and 6 of them will be on Bush. Democratic candidates pounded Bush in their debates (real shocker there) like he was running again. If they are going to rely on hate, shouldn't they start hating Guiliani, Romney, Thompson, or McCain? So, do they know he can't run again or are they still upset about 2004 and 2000?

unfrozen - Nice job of dodging the question and going into a typical Bush rant. Thanks.

Truthseeker - I didn't say Olbermann was wrong. I am simply pointing out the man never has anything good to say about Bush. Watch the show honestly and see if Olbermann ever gives credit for the economy, unemployment rate, no attacks since 9/11. His "news" is all tilted to the left. Thanks.

Truth seeker - So basically, you are telling me it is Bush's fault that only 25% of the country own stocks. I didn't know Bush was the portfolio manager of 300 million people, but thanks. Savings, debt? Is it Bush's fault people dont' have the discipline to save or to live beyond their means? Keep reaching, but that is not Bush's fault either. Unemployment rate is lower than the late 90's. Dow has had the best run since 1927. Google it. Have another shot of Kool-Aid if you are going to believe everything Olbermann has said. No attacks since 9/11 mean nothing. What if we have one tomorrow? My GUESS is you would deem it relevant then. Thanks.

Truthseeker - When did I bring Hannity or Limbaugh into this conversation much less say everything they say is the gospel? Oh yeah, I didn't. You brought them into the conversation. This is the first time I have mentioned them, but now that you have I'll address them. Rush is about as dumb if not dumber than Olbermann. I do like Hannity but he goes overboard on stupid stuff like the whole Alec Baldwin deal. Nice spin on the economy as well. Thanks.

lltrix - "Olberman doesn't bash, he criticizes." LMAO. If you truly believe this then you might as well say Ann Coulter is a liberal. That would be absurd, which would put it in the Land of Oz your comment came from.

I have been thinking that exact thing myself. Somebody needs to wake them up... or not. Maybe they'll just snore through the entire election. Ha ha

It's because the country is mostly discontent with Bush's policies. (See any poll, he's under 50%). Therefore, if you were catering to the majority, as is DONE in democracies. You would definitely point out Bush's mistakes, why you agree with the 60 or 70 or 80 or 90% of America (depending on where the poll's from) about why Bush sucks. As for any democratic candidates, well if people don't like the current administration's policies it seems that a good plan would be to constantly denounce them, right?
This was a stupid question. It's obvious to anyone who's remotely into politics. It's all about majority and catering to the people who can get you elected or get more people interested in your TV show.

I don't care if he is running or not. We have a right to know what Bush is doing to screw up this country. Olbermann does an excellent job of pointing it out to us. Just because you don't agree with him, doesn't by mean he is wrong. If you think Olbermann is wrong about Bush, please inform us specifically where and when he was wrong.
I guess you can consider Olbermann the anti-Limbaugh. He never , ever gave Clinton credit. In fact more than six years after he has left office, Limbaugh bashes him daily. I doubt Olbermann will be bashing Bush 6 years after he leaves office. You have to keep in mind that the economy is NOT as good as Bush wants you to think it is. We have a borrow and spend economy. As far as the DOW goes, only 25% of Americans own individual stock. Want a better indicator of how the things are going for the Average American? Individual savings are at an all time low. Individual debt is at an all time high. The unemployment rate, while not bad , is not at an all time low. It is for Bush's Administration , but not historically low. There have been no attacks since 9-11, but the one before that was even a longer time period, so it might mean nothing. Not only that, I do feel strongly that the war in Iraq will do us far more long term damage than any good to come out of it. There are more terrorist attacks around the globe in the first 4 months of 2007 then there were in all of 2003, 2004, and 2005. We have given these maniacs a reason to recruit.... It will come back to bite us big time. Olbermann, might lean to the left, but like you said, you arent' saying he is wrong, meaning he is probably right. so if he is right, who cares what direction he leans. as long as we are getting the truth. And I really don't like a lot of the truth I have seen about Bush.
**What I am saying about he economy is that it is not as rosy as the Bush Administration and Limbaugh tell you it is. If I had a choice of believing everything that was said by Limbaugh , Hannity, or Olbermann - I would definitely choose Olbermann. Not that he is right 100% of the time, but he is definitely right more times than the other two put together.
If there was an attack tomorrow by terrorists, I would not call it insignificant. I would want the terrorists brought to justice. I would not want some country that had nothing to do with it attacked and taken over. I am also not going to live in fear the way Bush and Cheney want us to. While terrorism is a threat, there is only a 1 in 7800 chance that I will die in a terrorist attack versus any other method of dying. I will not live in daily fear. Nothing I have said has anything to do with "kool aid". It is common sense and facts.

Olberman doesn't bash, he criticizes. It's truly sad that you can't discern between the two. It really says something about your lack of education. Just where did the dems bash Bush? Again, reall shocker that you can't tell the difference between bashing a person and criticizing their foreign and domestic policies. People are looking for change. Americans are smart enough to know that Bush can't run in 2008.
Coulter is a b*tch. She has no analysis. For someone who went to the University of Michigan law school, she sure acts like an imbecile who couldn't analyze her way out of a paper bag let alone have a sound critique of political theories or philosophies. She's nothing but a walking bag of abusive ad homonyms. Olberman bashes??? Prove it.

Sure I'm upset. Our country has slid down the list pretty far in a few columns, and not any better in any column. We have a weaker military, weaker economy, our kids are less educated, science and technology are dying, minorities and lower class are getting worse again, etc. Thumb me down if you want, but all of these things were better when Clinton was in office. And in 2000, the same amount of negativity towards Clinton was shown by you guys, although the reason Gore lost is because he started positioning his way away from Clinton too.
The point is, no matter who is running, at some point Republican candidates will separate themselves from Bush as well. The nation has suffered for over 7 straight years now. Clinton's last term and all of Bush's 6 years so far.

Good observation. Actually, I have wondered the same but Oberman just can't help himself. He is filled with so much hate for any Republican that every night, it is the same story. I just can't imagine how MSNBC can even stay on the air. What I expect MSNBC to do is choose the weakest Republican candidate and really pump up that person. Then, in their way of thinking, the Democrat will definitely win. And you are right, they are still upset about 2000 and 2004. After all, they are big and powerful and everyone was supposed to have listened to them and voted Democrat. Hahahahaha.

Sure. But its just like the neocons trying to tie Democratic candidates to Clinton--which they were still trying to do last year.
But in this case, it s valid. The right-wing Republicans are tied to Bush whether they like it or not. And he will drag them down. And--since they share his corruption and guilt, they deserve it.
I hope the cons enjoy getting a real BIG dose of their own medicine! lol

They are using Bush as an offense. By showing how he messed up, they will look good with what they say they are going to do while in ofice. They want to be the complete opposite.
