I've lost several people I love. The one that had the most impact was my dad. Followed a year and a half later by my mom.

Yes, the love of my life. He woke up when the alarm went off, went and turned the TV on laid on the couch and never woke up again. It hurt so bad, I never thought I would smile again. I think of him all the time and it still brings tears to my eyes and my heart feels like it is being twisted like a wet wash cloth. I think about things we did and the moment he asked me to marry him on Stone Mountain. It is not the kind of pain that goes away easily. We never had enough time to get married!
