How many times does he open his mouth?

2007-05-08 17:28:26 · answer #1 · answered by LIly 4 · 8 9

No more than he had to. Presidents have to lie, sometimes it is for the better of the citizens. Although I am against the War in Iraq, I think he really thought they were a threat. And as he sits in front of us and tells us the War is going well, he is doing that because Republicans all over the country would kill themselves for one of their own admitting they were wrong. Can't have that.

A Democrat can be almost perfect and would not get the benefit of the doubt with these people, a Republican can start WW3 and be a hero. Backwards logic huh?

Impossible to say 'cos he does it daily. However two important ones;
1] That he is a born-again Xtian
2] That the war in Iraq is about terror

Based on what, information given to him by other sources, or based on his own personal investigation. To be fair, which you do not seem to want to be, or anyone else who has answered, what the President might say is based on the information that has been given to him. If his source is in error, then he will give erroneous answers. Should we hold you, or any of your cohorts to the same standard? If you give false information based on what you are told, shouldn't that also be held against you just as you are doing with the President?

Bush has lied. What is even sadder is that their is a certain population of the US that doesn't care. Ironically, they are the same people that are furious that Clinton lied.

I count many...

1. When he said that Iraq was stockpiling WMDs
2. When he said Iraq was aiding and abetting Al Queada
3. When he said the war in Iraq is the war on terror
4. When he said mission accomplished - then why are we still there?
5. When he said we are winning
6. When he said he supports our troops

Hey, just because he can't tell anywhere near the number of lies Clinton can is no reason to criticize him.
