All of my experiences with Six Flags have been fabulous. I love roller coasters, and that is basically what the park is about. My favorite rides are Superman (AMAZING) and Deja Vu.
I went about a month ago and I loved it, as usual. Theme Parks take me to a place that I don't normally get to be. I love the adrenaline. I love the fear.
If you go to the one over Georgia, the only ride that I do not recommend is the Ninja. It is fun...but really painful. People have snapped their necks on it.
Definitely go on Superman. The experience is surreal.
Six Flags rocks socks.

Except for the summer I worked there, I have gotten a seaon pass evert year. Six Flags Over Georgia is my home park. Six Flags also owns and operates White Water, a water slide park on the other side of town.
For the most part, my experiences have been good. I love roller coasters and I will ride any of them with the exception of Ninja...that is simply one of the most poorly designed coasters I have ever ridden. Some of the rides are in need or repair and painting (Monster Plantation, Georgia Cyclone) and others could use better landscaping (Mine Train, Superman, Scream Machine).
Skull Island was a nice addition because you really can't get wet on any of the water rides anymore. Splashwater Falls is a joke, Thunder River is a hit or miss and Log Flume is only slightly wet. There is no additional charge for it and it's a great way to beat the heat.
Free Fall, Looping Starship and Parachute Drop are all gone. The prices have gone up. If you go this summer, have fun!!

Six Flags is one of my favorite places to go to in the summer, i usually go twice. the best ride is by far Nitro, although i'll never forget this but last year i lost my lens to my Native Sunglasses, i was pretty much mad for the rest of the day. but still Six Flags is fun. Kingda Ka, might be short and all but the beginning part is seriously the best of the whole ride

i blacked out on goliath once.
i closed my eyes for the rest of the ride and luckily i regained my sight.
then when i went on viper i got major whiplash.
keep in mind - its not like i'm old and decrepit either - i'm only a teenager so i'm not that easily messed up.
i know roller coasters are supposed to give you an adrenaline rush - but at six flags i don't feel safe physically at all.
i don't like six flags.
it isn't maintained and i find that the people who work there are quite rude.
and the fact that the one in california is bankrupt
even further proves that they don't maintain the rides.
it isn't safe.

Just a shot in the dark here, but you either work at Six Flags or you're thinking about a hostile take-over.

I stopped going after the gang members started using it as their haven. They show up in the late afternoon and take over the park. We stick to Disneyland...
