happiness if you'd experience it? Or would it have to be over for you to know that you caught a glimpse of it? Why?

In Greece, we say "It is the journey to Ithaka that matters" meaning that Ithaka itself is probably not of such importance. It is the journey that matters, your aim and efforts to reach for it.

Ithaka is the native island of King Ulysses in Ancient Homer's Epic.

I always recognize the things which make me happy because I know who I am. I experience quite a bit of happiness, actually.

Oh, I know. It's the view, you see. I prefer to enjoy the view from the top of the mountain and favour the breeze, than wait til I fall down and bemoan the path I have to take to return to the top.

We can use our lows to boost our highs... or our highs to fathom our lows. I prefer the first.

I would recognize it been happy a few times before, but to be honest, I love my misery more now days

No. Happiness is distinct. The loss of happiness will just make me compare how my life was before which will only make me feel worse.

no i know it when i have it...its blissful..its so easy to get caught up in that moment...i would hate to be the other kind of person..to know it only after its gone..sad way to live
