Did anyone see Oprah today? Would you put yourself in harms way to help a friend or loved one that you knew was being abused? I know without my family I could not have made it out of my abusive relationship.

If you did not see the show today it was about domestic violence. You can go to her web site and look at footage from today's show. If you know someone who is being abused or if you are being abused, please confide in someone. Be safe and tell someone you need help. Do it safely. Don't waste your life thinking they will change. Be safe!

My sister saved my life. I did not see Oprah today, but was in an abusive relationship. If my sister had not taken the initiative to throw him out of my house after I was hospitalized, I think he would have killed me. He would have eventually beat me to death and then lied about it, like he did everything else.
Saddest part, my 19 yr old daughter is like her dad. She reminds me so much of him, it scares me.

didnt see it. i usulaly watch it on my lunch break @ work but called in skc 2day... yeah i would put msyelf in harms way if it was for my duaghter.
