Door nob problem, please help me?

i need a new door nob but old one won't come off, there are no screws so im lost. Its one were its a push a button into lock it. It know work no more so i wanna get it off but how can I, if there are no screws to unscrew.

There is a special tool for releasing the lock ring behind it.
(I am assuming you mean an inside door handle). The tocking ring is kind of like a round spring that fits in a couple of grooves on the back of the handle. The tools are fairly cheap but usually are specific to car brands. If you are driving the car almost any mechanic or body shop will have them handy. it is a five second job. Walmart or a parts supply should have that tool for about $5.00.

If it is the outside door handle then you need to take the inside panel of the door off. The screws are inside the door itself. This is a more complicated job.
