I feel dumb...

On this math homework we had today, there was an INTENSELY simple problem. I believe (and I am pretty sure) that it was this:
3-4+7-2=
The given answers were (Also, pretty sure on these)
(a)-2 (b)-1 (c)0 (d)1 (e)2

My answer was 4... and the book is rarely wrong.

If you stated the problem correctly then your answer of 4 is perfect. Are you sure one of those operators was not a multiply instead of an add or subtract?

I think the question is, why would you have such a simple question in your homework? From the fact that you said it was an intenstly simple problem, I think you were supposed to solve it in a way other than the normal arithmatic way. Were there any brackets there or something?
