I know the platypus is a monotreme, an egg laying mammal, and all the sources I checked said everything was the same as a regular mammal except for: reptile like eyes and shoulders
lays eggs, no teats

Yes the platypus has a respiratory and circulatory system similar to that of other mammals. It is different from a reptile's circulatory system.
