how i would love to start it & how i start it are 2 very different scenarios lol
i like to hit the snooze button & just wake up slowly. i don't like jumping straight out of bed when the alarm goes off, makes me cranky if i do that...
I always am thankful to wake up healthy & able to spend another day here-with- & for my kids.
they are my reason to start each & every day with a smile, when I wake & think of them :-) .. after that i wake them up for breakfast & this is when my serenity of the morning ends & the chaos begins LOL

Ideally, when I start the day would be over cuz I'd be sleeping until noon. But I like starting the day after getting a wonderful night's sleep, waking up at sunrise, and taking a walk/jog/bike ride outside...especially in the mountains! I wish moments like those would last because the quiet is so nice. But then people wake up and it gets busy and noisy again...

My girlfriend slaps me awake and restarts the argument from last night. I stagger downstairs, firstly open a beer and secondly open my eyes. Eat cold pizza from last night.
Put my trousers on, get in the car, have a bit of a sleep, play From Ritz to the Rubble by Arctic Monkeys, wake up, have another beer...
Drive to the nuclear power plant where I work as a safety officer. 10 cups of coffee, watch a screen all day. Go home, dial for a pizza.

Walking up slowlly in my big bed, with the warm ray of sunshine across my side (I am a side sleeper) - stretch slowlly out. Then as I am stretching, bump my leg against my love - then move in so I can give him a little chest scratch, rub his little nipple then move my hand down to see if he is awake.
Thats how I like to start my day, but instead it is alarm clock ringing at 5:30 am we both jump out, almost crushing the dog and running around trying not to smack each other and burn the others hand with hot tea.

I am not a morning person so there is no way I like to start the day. If I need to be up very early for work it is even worse. Nothing can make that pleasant..

exactly how it started today.
woke up 20 minutes before the alarm, woke my boyfriend up in a way that he really likes and didn't make it out of bed until waaaaaay after the alarm. in fact we didn't even hear it.
got up, grabbed a quick shower then sat in the garden with a nice cup of tea till it was time to give in to the inevitable and go to work . pretty perfect start to the day :-)

I like to start my day by waking up next to my husband and kissing him while he is still asleep. He is sooo cute while he is sleeping. That is the perfect start of my day. If he happens to wake up while I'm kissing him I have a good chance of getting some good morning nookie! That makes my day even better.

Can't do ANYTHING before I've brushed my teeth, then a quick shower to refresh the parts that Heineken can't reach, back into bed for marathon session of snuggles, cuddles, bird stuff & bee stuff, shower and repeat, shower and repeat ... anyway, that's how I LIKE to start the day. Unfortunately, the reality is
s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y different!

Well, I'd like to start my day off not being woken up by the alarm first of all.
Then I like to take a shower and get all clean and refreshed.
