Yes, if you wax it will rip the hair out by the root so you won't have stubble as it grows back.

If you wax over time, the follicle gets weaker & the hair grows back finer.

Well i thought everyone knew you weren't supposed to shave your arms. I protects your skin from the sun. Hair almostalways gets thicker after being shaved. I don't know about the waxing thing but how about going in the waxing place and asking?

Waxing will rip the hair out and damage the follicles, causing less hair to grow. Or you can get it lasered off, just find a reputable spa, but be prepared to spend some $$. But I think laser is worth it, and you won't have to both with goopy waxes or razor burn again.

And if arm hair protects skin from the sun, then it would need to be very thick to be effective. Women wax their legs... does leg hair protect skin from the sun too?

Yes it will. I learned this from my Bio teacher this year. Here's how it works:

When you shave.. you cut the fine part of the hair off, leaving the stubby hard part. That keeps growing and growing, thicker and thicker, etc.

When you wax, you pull the entire hair out, and your body uses it's proteins to create new hair, and this hair is fine again.

Good luck.
