i'm about 5"3 can i wear skinny jeans or will i just look fat? what's the best height you should be to wear them? where in canada can you buy them or anywhere else? do you wear them? how tall are you?

I'm almost 6 feet tall, not skinny, and I've only worn them a few times but they're alright. They look best with boots that come to just under the knee. As far as I'm concerned you don't need to be tall to wear them. Darker denim is my favorite, it makes your legs look thinner too

Sometimes I wear them. I'm 5'6''. It doesn't really matter how tall you are. It just matters if you are overweight. Also, a lot of people wear a long top with the skinny jeans. So it can make you look thinner. Also, it's a good idea to buy them one size larger than you would your regular jeans.
I don't know what stores they have in Canada, but in America you can buy them at the Gap or Old Navy. They are pretty popular right now so you should be able to find them at any shopping center. Also, you could look online.

Try a pair on at a department store. I don't know if you guys have a Urban Outfitters in Canada but that's where I buy most of my skinny jeans. I'm 5'7, which is tall, so skinny jeans make my legs look more slender but I don't think you have to be tall to wear them.
You should grab a few friends, go to a mall and try some on and ask them what they think as well. ;]

I absolutely love skinny jeans. That's all I wear!
I'm actually 54 years old and grew up in the 70's era with the bell bottom jeans. At my age now, the bell bottom jeans do not look good on me. They make me look fat, and the length is too long on most of them! I'm 5'3" in height, so I am not really tall.
When the skinny jeans came back in style and I saw them at a Wal-Mart store in California, I went and bought almost all of the pairs in my size they had! They were on sale too! The brand name at Wal-Mart was called "Metro 7". But I bought them a few months ago, so they don't carry them anymore. I used to wear that style of jeans when they were the fashion in the middle 80's.
I also bought a couple of pairs at a Target store when they had them, but I like the ones I bought at Wal-Mart better. They have a higher waist.
The Gap jeans store for awhile was carrying the skinny jeans. You may want to check them out. I think the Gap is a store that's nationwide.
I really hope skinny jeans comes back in style again.
As far as your height, you're the same as me. I think the skinny jeans look is very complimentary, and does make one look skinnier, because it is slimming. They would probably look very good on you!

If you're skinny, go for it!! You can wear them if you're healthy/normal too. If you feel like you look short you can wear cute wedges. I think converse look cute with skinny jeans too. There is a short girl in my class (maybe 5'1?) well she's also pretty skinny but she pulls off skinny jeans great! The point is, you can wear skinny jeans at any height!

As long as ur thighs are not too fat it should look good on you. You can buy skinny jeans from sirens, Limite probably even stitches. I saw the skinny jeans recently at sirens. It was about $35 .I am 5'5 and i don't wear them. coz i would look too tall in those.

it doesnt matter how tall you are, it matter what size jeans you wear. personally I think only skinny people look okay in skinny jeans. The fit isn't flattering to anyone, especially anyone with a little extra weight or some curves.

if your thin already, you wont look fat. I have a rocker freind who is like 5'2 and she wears them all the time and still looks skinny. But i think your height could wear them, only if you are really thin, like a size 2 or 4. Those pants shouldnt even be made in plus size

I'm 5'4 and skinny jeans are my favorite type of jeans, i wear them all the time. It really doesnt matter how tall you are, anybody can wear them and they still look hot

skinny jeans have nothing to do with height...they have to do with weight. If you are skinny or average sized it should look fine...If you are plus-sized, I wouldn't suggest it.
I'm also 5'3", I wear a size 5 or 7 in jeans, and i have a pair of skinny jeans.
