For those of you who do not know who I am talking about, Idi Amin was an African dictator who killed Asians, Whites, Christians, Jews, and basically anyone who wasn't a Black Muslim.

He became the King of Scotland at one point, and is known as the last King of Scotland.

My question is this: How the h3ll does some overweight African dictator who hates both whites and Christians become king of a country it all white and almost all Christian?

He didn't become King of Scotland, he just declared himself the King. He was aware of a movement for Scottish independence and decided to "help out". Needless to say, the Scots didn't take him up on the offer.

As much as he has been labeled crazy by almost everyone, Idi Amin had once been narrated to by a white man, (apparently who didn't believe the windsors as the true heirs of the british monarchy), about the existence of black people in europe centuries ago and who had been kings and nobility in europe in the old days. Of particular interest to him came to be the Jacobites and the theory that they were of a certain black origin, the house of stuart(swearth in old english meaning dark complexion) from Scotland who once ruled Great Britain Ireland and Wales. Idi Amin henceforth was fascinated by the possibility of blacks kings in ancient europe(in particular scotland due to the Jacobites), and decided to label himself a continuity and the current remaining descendant of that ruling dynasty, hence The Last King of Scotland. Hope that helps>

You are confusing a movie title with historic facts.

"The Last King of Scotland" is a movie that tells the story of Dr. Nicholas Garrigan (James McAvoy), a young Scottish doctor who travels to Uganda and becomes the personal physician to the dictator Idi Amin (played by Forest Whitaker).

Idi Amin was never a king, and never ruled the country of Scotland.

Below are some links. One for the movie, and one for Scottish history.
